ADD Properties, a subsidiary of Sami Saad Holding, has finalized a landmark $265 million syndicated financing package backed by major regional and international financial institutions.
The deal underscores growing institutional confidence in Egypt’s tourism sector and positions the developer for key expansion across its hospitality portfolio.
The loan agreement was signed in the presence of senior executive leadership from ADD Properties alongside representatives from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), International Finance Corporation (IFC), Emirates NBD Egypt, the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), and EFG Holding, which acted as financial advisor to the transaction.
Part of the newly secured funds will go toward optimizing ADD Properties’ capital structure, while the remainder will directly finance the development of a 400-key luxury Grand Hyatt hotel situated directly opposite the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Pyramids of Giza.
Designed in alignment with Egypt Vision 2030, the project integrates high-level sustainability standards, technical support for green building certifications, youth training programs in hospitality, and modernized corporate governance to drive long-term value creation.
