Gold prices rose on Friday, and gold futures for April delivery rose by 0.2% to $ 1322.1 an ounce, as risky asset markets fell, according to a report published by Mubasher.
The spot price of precious metal settled at $ 1318.8 an ounce.
Risky assets fell as the US stock market declined and the dollar fell.
The US dollar fell after the government partially closed for the second time in less than a month, according to Mubasher.
